Well here goes I've owned 55 & 56 F-100s and soon discovered that everybody has one so I wanted something different and when was the last time that you saw a 58 done (probably never like this one) here is a small list of what I've done over the last 31 years that I've owned it :It's a mildly built (9. 5:1) 460 with a nice cam screw in studs with roller rockers timing is straight up (not retarded from the factory) Cadillac tilt and telescopic steering column with a Lecarra steering wheel Volare independent torsion bar suspension with 4 wheel power disc brakes (the Volare suspension is better than the typical mustang II front suspension with A big block in it in my opinion) at any rate drives nice the rear is narrowed 9" with a Detroit locker it's a4 link and coil over rear suspension new door rubber seals new felt channels in windows as well as new tinted glass except windshield new anti rattle bar between windows and vent wings (also tinted had glass cut not tinted film attached it's actually in the glass) 6 way electric power Lexus leather seats VDO gauges polished dash polished vacuum reservoir (for power brakes) polished auxiliary trans cooler (doesn't run through radiator) newer US radiator (polished brass top) real American 5 spoke wheels 15 X 15 in the rear with 33 X 19. 50 - 15 Mickey Thompson tires that are like new fronts are 205/70 - 15 T/As that are like new as well this is a great truck no rust no patch panels all original body always been a California truck like I said I've owned it for 31 years I've just kinda lost interest in it you could finish the bed or terrorize everybody as is If you don't like attention this truck isn't for you (like I said earlier nobody does a 58) I've got receipts in excess of 50K I know that I'm going to get close to that just wanted to illustrate that there has been serious money thrown at this truck It's a great running and driving truck that gets a lot of attention Black paint could use some help but like I said there is no rust ( in these pictures the truck is a little bit dirty was sitting in my shop)
