Being offered is a beautiful traditional style 1932 Ford sedan hot rod with the amenities of a street rod. The car was built by Fod's Garage and finished in 2013. The car is owned and driven by my dad. he is selling to start his search for a C1 Corvette. This is a low mileage fairly fresh build but has been road proven in hot and cold weather around town and on the interstate. The car was purchased in 2009 as a bare bones hot rod built in the 70s. The car was totally disassembled down to the very last bolt so a complete rebuild could be done. All steel parts were media blasted in order to find every bit of rust and damaged metal so no hidden issues would be missed. Photos show body in bare steel nothing to hide. The top is chopped 3 1/2 inches giving a very aggressive attitude. Front and rear suspension consist of transverse springs with hair pins for a traditional look. Power comes from a fresh built healthy 283 backed by a new 700r4 transmission. Rear axle is 8" Ford with new Currie posi center section. Drum rear brakes with Wilwood disc on the front. The interior is comfortable and fully loaded with a/c. classic instrument gauges. hidden radio. fully insulated and upholstered with a traditional hot rod feel. As can be seen with the exception of sheetmetal most other parts are powder coated or polished stainless. This was a high dollar build with only quality parts. After Completion the car has been driven around locally with a few longer trips. The car was driven to Tenn (600 mile round trip) with no issues. Of course this is a traditional hot rod that means it does not handle or ride like a new car. Although there are no known issues this is an old car and with anything mechanical it can fail.
