1956 Ford F-100 "Custom Cab" Pickup. This is a very nice rust free California truck. The drive train has been updated to a Chevy 454 V8 with Edelbrock intake, dual exhaust, automatic transmission and Ford nine-inch rear end. Has rare (non-working) stock round radio with overhead speaker cover. New seat, tires/wheels/hubcaps, battery, hood emblems, outside door handles, front bed panel and tail lights. This "rat rod" runs great and sounds mean with lots of power! New master cylinder and brakes work fine and stock heater has been rebuilt. All lights and turn signals operate properly.
Very nice chrome grille and front and rear bumpers. Original long wheel base frame was professionally shortened to accommodate the stock short bed box. Paint has some nicks and scratches and will need minor prep work and repaint/clear coat applied or just drive in it's patina condition! Bed is just in base coat. Glass is all good but vent windows have bubbles and rear glass has a small chip. Both door locks operate properly and hood and doors open and close very nicely. This is a very nice rust free California truck with very straight body panels. No power steering just the original " arm strong" steering. Truck has matching VIN tag and is Titled in my name. Currently on "up to date" non-op status. I have tried to describe the truck to the best of my knowledge, but as stated it is not a "show truck" but rather a very nice driver! Free to call me (AL) at (559) 916-4604 for more information. Truck is located in Fresno, CA.
I reserve the right to end the auction early as the truck is for sale locally.
