Beautiful 1957 Ford Thunderbird. This car is equipped with a 312 V8 Single 4 BBL Carb (D code) paired to an automatic transmission. I purchased the car in July 2013 and was told it was restored in the 1980's. Over the past 2 years the following has been done on the car: In August 2013removed & replaced the entire brake system, nstalled new brake drums, hoes and pads, eplaced emergency brake cables, eplaced entire exhaust system, lean & repacked front wheel bearings, eplaced L/R axle seals, eplaced all coolant hoses, eplaced battery cables, ut on 4 new tires, ut on 4 new shock absorbers, ill & adjust steering box and lube all grease fittings. In May 2014 replaced the fuel tank and in March 2015 checked tires, opped of fluids, hange oil & filter, lean & adjust brakes, djust carburetor and tighten transmission pan bolts. In October 2014 I had the transmission totally rebuilt. They removed it and installed a new reverse band, orward band and a master overhaul kit.new. The car also had almost all electrical wiring replaced, eplaced chrome grill and other trim work, ew carpet, nd trunk. Paint is in good condition for its age, ith some blemishes.. Car has a white soft top behind the seat which is in very good condition and a hard top which is in need of new gaskets (comes with hardtop stand for storage). Hard top has no portholes (see pictures). Car has No power steering and No power brakes. Does have power windows but driver side window is very difficult to raise and the passenger side raises very slow.. All instrumentation works excellent, are runs great and is an eye catcher. Interior is excellent as is the trunk. Original 1957 complete jack included. Has fender skirts but left side is in need ofrestoration. It is not a show car, hough I have taken it to 3 car shows and got a lot of attention. It is an excellent car to drive, proud car for cruses or weekends and just to be seen in as is very sharp looking. Purchaser will get owners manual, epair manual, eference books, ncluding Classic Thunderbird International's Thunderbird Restoration Details and Specifications Manual (complete with alladdendum), ll receipts for work completed..
