Description

1949 GMC

This truck is all steel including fenders, riginal Kansas Patina, ody off frame, pproximately 2 years ago.

Mostly original frame and body mounts except front clip which is from a 1969 Camaro, -wheel disc brakes, rop spindles and coilovers on front with power steering and triangulated 4 link with coilovers on rear so it drives and stops like it should.

LS1 engine with 4L60E transmission, luminum block and matching 4L60E transmission – no leaks.

Aluminum radiator with electric fan, uns cool.

No mechanical issues, e have driven the truck extensively over the last year or so.

New window glass and rubber, dded large visor from late 40’s, arly 50’s.

Dolphin gauges, ustom upholstery and shifter. The truck has dual Flowmaster exhaust.

The doors, ood, ail gate and grille are original to the truck, nterior and under hood have new paint.

Exterior is as it has been for the last 60+ years.

Original grille with GMC badges.

20” Ridler wheels on front and rear, ew gas tank.

Vintage air A/C and heat.

Rough cut and weathered cypress hinged bed.

The cab interior and dash was upgraded to modern standards with a set of brand new, riginal look Dolphin quad and speedo gauges.

We installed a new 200 watt, M/FM radio with RCA outputs if you want to add more amplifiers. You can also connect your iPod, P3 player, VD or satellite radio via the integrated auxiliary inputs. The radio’s tuner is USA/European compatible and even has a digital clock.

Truck is solid with only the surface rust you see and an eraser sized hole in the bottom of the original cab corner. We drive the truck two to three times a week. It is very dependable and a cool attention getter.
