Description

This is a brand new rotisserie restoration. It is a laser straight flawless 1964 GMC step side short box C10. Originally from California it made its way up to Oregon where the restoration began. The gentleman lost interest and in 2010 I found it and brought it to Canada. I basically started over. The body and all components came off and it went on the rotisserie. I sandblasted the frame and it was taken to a beautiful gloss black. It had a Camaro front clip installed. This is a 100 percent rust free unit. 5 stud chassis. I installed a 3 inch lowering kit in the rear and a 2 inch in the front. Very nice stance. Front disc brakes, rum rear brakes. The engine is a brand new “factory crate” Chevrolet 572/620 HP motor. I had it dyno’d before install and it turned 659 HP and 670 ft/lbs. Unbelievable. This documentation can be supplied. This truck runs great on high octane pump gas as this is what Chevrolet engineered it to run on. I stayed very strong with the tranny. It is a completely rebuilt Turbo 400. All the guts are beefed up. It has a stage II comp shift kit and a 2500 Stall. It is bullet proof. I stuck with a one piece driveshaft. The differential is a completely rebuilt Chevrolet 12 bolt posi traction with 3.73 gears. I had the headers custom built by Lemons Headers. Google that. They are 2.25 inch with 3 inch collectors. The accessory kit is a fully chromed serpentine kit. It has power brakes and steering. I am running a mechanical fan. The rad was custom built and this unit stays at 190 degrees all day long in the hottest days of summer. I am running 15 inch Mickey Thompson rubber all the way around to stay contemporary and they are installed on American Racing 5 spoke mags. The rear is 8 inches wide and the front is 7. I moved the fuel cell to the rear of this truck and the filler is in the box. It has an electric fuel pump. The box, ike the rest of the vehicle is clean, lean, lean. The interior was kept very close to stock but like the rest of this unit, ompletely rebuilt. I did install a chrome tilt steering wheel and power seats. All gauges are Autometer everything in a beautiful chrome cluster. I painted this truck inside and out Plum Crazy Purple. The box was sprayed with box liner in the same color.

This build was painstakingly and meticulously done. Nothing was left to do later. I have driven this truck 682 km which is 409 miles. THAT IS IT!!! There are no bugs left to work out. I have never rodded this machine. It is a VERY powerful unit!! I have more than 90 000 dollars into the build. I had it appraised by a very reputable company up here in Canada recently. The appraisal can be viewed to anybody who shows sincere interest in purchasing this beautiful truck. I am selling this gorgeous unit for one simple reason. It is now complete and absolutely turnkey but I have a new interest and I need the room to work. It is a real head turner and anybody would be proud to own and drive it. Let my loss be your gain. Your American dollars work very well right now!I will accept reasonable offers. Please call me at 1 403 330 8844.Thank you for reading and happy rodding.
