This 1970 GMC short bed stepside truck is a great start to any project your mind and imagination can dream up. Solid truck with the usual issues associated with this year model. Both cab corners will need to be patched. Floorpans need small patch on drivers area along rocker panel as usual and a small section under pedal/foot area. Passenger side needs patch at rocker panel also. Rockers pretty good but I would replace as they have the typical dent in them from a stump somewhere in its life. Drivers fender and innner fender need nothing. The passenger fender could be patched with lower patch easily or replaced. With the low cost of inner and outer fender I would replace more cost effective than doing the patch. Battery tray and radiator support could go either way but I would replace again because cost is low. Frame is solid and good throughout. The wood bed panels are original and weathered as expected. The mounting hardware and all strips are good and need only clean and paint with wood replacement.
Any request for additonal pics please ask and they will be provided. Look around folks ain't none left like this!!!!! Don't miss this chance to buy one this solid that has original paint and panels so you know what you are getting. Restored or half way restored trucks are HIDING a whole lot of headache and mysery this one is an open book. You get to start with more truck than I have seen in a long time.
No engine no transmission. rear end is 12 bolt posi. Original fuse panel is there with all wiring and ignition. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
