Up for sale is our 1972 Honda Z600 micro car which has been a blast to own and operate! We gave her a professional new paint job (Dupontw/ clear coat)4 months agoand she looks stellar! This Honda micro car runs, rives, nd shifts great through all gears including reverse.Body and frame is solid and would make a great weekend or daily driver. Recent maintenance: oil and filter was changed 5/1/15 and brake fluid flush 5/15/15. I have a clean/clear NC title in hand and registered to me.
FYI-The Honda 600 was the first "mass market" car sold by Honda. The N600 sedan was introduced to the US market in 1969, nd the sportier Z600 coupe followed in 1971.
The Honda Z600 is just over 10 feet long, nd weighing about 1300 pounds. Although not overpowered by any means with a two cylinder 598cc engine with 36 cubic inches and 36 horsepower, hey were actually fairly sophisticated and powerful compared with the other micro cars of the time. Some of the features that differentiated the Honda 600 were front power disc brakes, speed all synchro transmission, tachometer (coupe only), nd a surprisingly spacious interior with reasonably comfortable seats.
Although the actual number of survivors is unknown, est estimates are fewer than 1000. 600 or so Sedans and Coupes combined and maybe 300 of these are running.
Located in Sunny Wilmington, C. This 72 Honda Z600 micro car is sold as is, o warranty expressed or implied.
