This is a 1987 governmentdecommissioned hmmwv vin 035131. 6.2 naturalaspirated diesel, 3 speed automaticI bought it as a 2 door troop carrier and converted it into a 4 door soft top. New top anddoors.What was left of the oldseats were replaced with used hmmwv high back seats. They are not new but used, some have light water stains. The paint finish at the time was a tired rough camocare paint.It was painted with a 1996 hummer tan paint code usingppg single stage paint. A 2 inch suspension lift kit was added toaccommodate a set of 39.5x12.5x16.5 tires with oem 2 piece steel wheels. Other than that it is still a stock vehicle. Their was an issue with the odometer not being accurate when I titled the truck from Illinois to Ohio but the truck has a street legal title and was plated. The fuel tank has a leak at the top when over filled. I have a replacement tank that will go with the sale. Also included is a Warn 18,000 lb 24 volt winch which I have not gotten around to install. A couple of leaks here and there but nothing serious. No rust on the body, a little under the frame that I could not get too. Please not pictured is a place where the previous owner tried to access the fuel tank from the top by cutting an opening in the center floor board. I have it taped for protection. also there are a couple of tears in the bedwith are also pictured. This hmmwv is not perfect, but none of them are.
