This is a very nice low mileage vintage Jaguar that has some mechanical issues. Great project if you know something about these. It had been sitting for several years beforeI got it. The body is in great shape and looks like it was repainted at some point. The leather interior is also in great shape. When I first got it I put in a new battery and it started right up. It was a little rough but I was able to drive it up and down the driveway and verify basic operation. I started to fix the little things like some fuel leaks and put in new spark plugs. I also noticed that there was a burnt wire in the console which seems to be related to the power doors and windows but I haven't traced out the problem yet.
At some point I could no longer get it to start and noticed that the fuel pump was notrunning. There was no voltage at the pump so I changed out the fuel pump relay and still no voltage at the fuel pump. At this point I have too many other projects and just don't have time to continue with this one. Seems like a great project with lots of potential.
