Description

Up for your consideration is a 1983 Jeep CJ7 Laredo. The Jeep has gone through a restoration to be my driver Jeep. I wanted it to look like an original Jeep Laredo but be capable of going just about anywhere. Also it had to be functional and go 65-70 mph down the road and be fun to drive. The Jeep really does ride nice down the road. Even for a lifted Jeep it is well above average. It has a ton of torque capable of idling along in first gear without touching the gas. Up hills I usually don't down shift due to torque. The engine starts right up idles great and runs perfect. The 6 speed trans will get you up to 70 mph no problem. It really is a special Jeep with a lot of time and effort to make it a one of kind Jeep. I only have 3k miles on the Jeep since completing. The paint is very nice driver quality and looks really stunning when cleaned up. Look at the pics they should tell the story.
  • 4.6L stroker motor completely rebuilt. Fuel injected.
  • NSG370 6 speed manual transmission out of a 05 Wrangler
  • Dana 300 Tcase
  • Tom Woods Drive shafts with UV style in the rear
  • Rubicon Express 4.5in lift kit
  • JKS sway bar disconnect
  • 1/4in custom skid plate to reduce any low points
  • Dana 30 front axle with ARB air locker and 4.56 gears. Upgraded axle shafts. Warn front hub conversion
  • AMC 20 rear with truss Dana 44 axle tubes Warn Full Floating axle kit ARB air locker 4.56 gears.
  • Exhaust starts out with SS header high flow Magnaflow cat and Magnaflow muffler. Sounds mild to medium with a nice grumble.
  • Custom ARB switch housing under dash. Has two extra switches for custom lights that I don't currently use but could be.
  • Warn XD9000I winch
  • Warn bumper tire carrier
  • 35x12.5R17 Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar MT/R tires with less than 2000 miles
  • 17x9 Mickey Thompson Classic Lock wheels
  • Tuffy console
  • Tilt wheel

  • Full Laredo Interior with no rips or tears in seats.
  • Comes with Bestop Supertop that is like new but does have one quarter size hole on the very top.
