Description
1976 Lancia Scorpion #906 (of 1801 total for 1976 and 1977).The good:About 6000 miles on rebuilt engine. 2.0 European spec. and performance cam. 28 MPG freeway.Strong 5 speed transmission. Good brakes.Crossmember reinforced.Lowered to European spec. New tires maybe 3000 miles on them.New exhaust. Lights work.Horn works.Interior lights and fan work. Some gauges work better than others. Full spare gauge cluster included.Full set of 8 spoke Abarth wheels can be included (one shown as spare).Bowtie wheels with all center caps.New top. Opens and closes well.Newer interior.Solid floors.Awesome Giselle paint job. Race car quality. Film accurate decals.AM/FM CD player works fine. Two speakers. Wires in place for 2 additional.Repair manual and some other spare tidbits included. The bad: Nothing major here. Just a garage and three or four weekends to sort out.Front and rear windows need to be sealed. Typical Scorpion mirror mount crack.Spare wiper motor included. Both work but wipers have stopped working. Relay issue.Rear brake calipers are stiff making the e-brake mostly ineffective. Interior vinyl is newer but a bit faded on top surfaces. Brown shoe or furniture polish easy fix.Horn retainer ring broken. Available as Fiat part. Have it button and spring. Horns work.Cooling fan intermittent. Contacts need to be cleaned. Some paint overspray inside easy cleanup with some lacquer thinner.Typical Scorpion rust spots on hood. Fixable. Otherwise in good shape.Heat blower works but no longer blows warm.Door limiters need to be put back on.That’s it. This is a very good solid Scorpion. The major stuff has been done.I’m in school work really am without the space or time to work on this.Someone with a garage and maybe four weekends could whip this thing back in shape. It’s a blast to drive and is a real head turner. I love this car but San Francisco is crowded and I just can’t justify keeping her here any more. She needs just a little TLC. I recommend shipping or towing but with the cooling fan issue bypassed or resolved it will be driveable. it just starts getting hot in stop and start traffic without it. Sometimes it works but it's not 100% dependable. I can take it in to get fixed before it's picked up if paid by the buyer. I just haven't because it's expensive to live here and I'm only working part time right now.
