Description

Restored factory left-hand drive Series II 109 in beautiful condition. Only 53k miles driven since new. Factory tropical roof with air vents, factory original 2.25L engine and finished in stunning "Marine Paint" paint. Mechanically and cosmetically exceptional. This Land Rover was bestowed the Hungarian "Museum Certificate" and issued special "OT" license plates. Very few vehicles are able to pass this quasi-state originality exam. Body panels, motor and frame must have all factory build engravings. After passing this rigorous inspection the vehicle receives special license plates, and engine-bay mounted ID plate and high-security Certificate of Originality. Because it was restored in 2010 it does show some slight patina, but the condition is still exemplary.

Located in Hungary. American seller. I have successfully exported several Series Land Rovers and Defenders to the U.S. and Canada. All vehicles 25 years or older are exempt from the notorious customs and safety requirements that later vehicles are subject to.

Discounted Worldwide Shipping. Contact me for more info. 801-203-3454 or email: matwil74[at]gmail.com

Terms of Sale

The Deposit:
Please be ready to place a $500 paypal deposit within 48 hours of auction's close. You will receive a bill of sale after the deposit is posted. All transactions must be completed within 7 days of the end of auction. The balance must be made by traditional bank to bank transfer to my U.S. account, or cash in person.

Cash in person is always welcome if you choose to take delivery of vehicle in Hungary. This has been a popular option for some of American buyers who want to tour Europe without the added cost of car rental. Hungary is centrally located in mainland Europe bordering Austria, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. And of course you don't want to miss the important tourist destinations of Hungary: Budapest and Eger, (our city) especially if you want to taste some of the world-famous wines here!

All vehicles 25 year or older are exempt from U.S. DOT and NHTSA regulations.

I will happily assist with worldwide transportation. In the case that you wish to pick up the vehicle in person we will arrange airport pickup for you free of charge (this could be an opportunity to tour Europe without the additional cost of car rental).

Importing to the U.S.
