This 1962 Lincoln 4 door suicide door sedan is a straight car.... minimal deep rust that I can find inspecting the car as noted above and shown in the photos. two of the doors have minor damage to the exterior skin(more like an imprint ripple than a dent)The paint is the original paint, he chrome is complete and in really nice shape. everything under the hood seems to be original and complete. This car is an excellent candidate for restoration OR, ust get it running well and drive it as is! Please note, he hood and trunk lids both have small rust holes in multiple spots apparently from moisture stuck within the panel structure of thehood/trunk. if you choose to get his car running and drive it as is, he hood and trunk are functional and have a bit of patina character... the trunk lock does not work and the radio is missing. Original paint and interior.
This car has been sitting in storage for ayears, o mechanical systems will all need to be checked out and repaired as needed - if you are considering bidding on this car, ou probably know what that means.
On Feb-07-16 at 17:36:06 PST, eller added the following information:I drove this car around the parking lot (slowly) in drive and reverse... the brakes do not work so I did not get to see if the tranny shifts thru the gears; takes off solid in reverse and first; starts easy.... fuel system seems clean; I did put an electric fuel pump on to bypass the factory fuel pump. it does have an exhaust leak.
