Description

Up for auction is a beautiful 1964 Lincoln Continental 4 door sedan. I'm helping a good friend sell this car and will be providing his contact information at the end of the page. This elegant beauty has had only 3 owners since it left the Wixom factory floor in 1964! The body is straight and glides down the road with ease.. Starts right up and idles perfectly and DOES NOT SMOKE...and stops on a dime. There are some small dings here and there in the trim and a few scraps and some aging in the front and rear bumpers...please ZOOM IN and look closely at all the pictures. There are some repairs that still need to be completed. The headliner just recently split..see pics. The rear windows do not function,.(.possible wiring issue) the factory AC needs to be rebuilt, he power locks just stopped working,(possibly vacuum issue) and a new exhaust manifold gasket. The under carriage has slight surface rust in some areas, ut nothing rotted through and no holes in the sheet metal. The windshield wipers are not pictured on the car but they function as they should and the car will come with the wipers on. I'm trying to list everything I know about the car because I do not want any surprises. ***PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS! **** This is a solid car that has a lot of original 50 year old parts on it. You can put a little time into her or leave her just the way she is and enjoy riding a classics piece of American history! Arctic White exterior (newer paint) with original Red Leather Interior. Current CA Registration. All original parts; original engine, ransmission, ear end, tc. Original CA car. No modifications have been made to the car other than those necessary to repair either un-working or worn parts. 430 V8, utomatic transmission, hifts strong, tarts and stops well.
