Description

Your bidding on a non running very beautiful and rare manual1965 Mercedes Benz 220SE Cabriolet!!
(Yes this car was recently sold in a recent ebay auction but the winning bidder had issues with payment so I canceled the deal and am re-listing it).

This is a very solid car that would make a great driver or is the perfect car for a full restoration! The car was stored for over 15 years and due to not being driven the motor will not turn over. Could possibly be freed up with a little love or may need to be taken apart and gone through. Also due to sitting for so long the brakes are also locked up and need to be gone though. More than likely the pistons are froze. The parking brake is also disconnected.Once these things and a few other small things are gone through you will have a very nice 65 220se driver.
I repeat, our buying a car that has not been run for a very long time so you'll need to go through the car to get it in perfect running order.
In the photo of the engine you'll notice the radiator is missing plus a few other engine parts. These are all in the trunk. The radiator, ir intake canister and hoses and the air conditioning system are all in the trunk. The belts and some hoses were removed from the engine because they were very dry and cracked so these items will need to be purchased.
The vehicle is over 50 years old so as you can see from the photo's the interior has your typical wear and tear. Basically the pictures tell the story.
The cars body is clean and basically rust free. There are no rust holes anywhere with a nice trunk and floor boards. Again, his is a solid car that was stored very well.
The chrome is very nice for a 50 year old car with very few dents and dings. The convertible top has no holes in it.
Very rare manual transmission. You'll have a very hard time finding this car in a stick in the US. It also has air conditioning.
The odometer reads 15,556 which yes seems very low. I'm not sure if it's 15,556 or 115,556. The title does not state actual milage due to it's age.
The car has a clean Michigan title.
