hey. unfortunately for sale is my rare mk1 ford capri. european pony car. i used to build these back in the uk and since coming over to the states have always been after one. i've owned this one for around a year. it's originally a 2.6 v6 cologne but someone had swapped it out for a later 2.8. i had plans from the start to swap in a v8 302 or 351w. i found a good low mileage 351w motorit ran and drove when it originally had it's 2.8 v6 motor in. i drove it to my shop pulled the motor and it sat for a while. i picked up a non roller 351w motor. i chose a non roller as the later roller blocks have a tendency to crack. low mileage bottom end. tollerances were all perfect. has stock crank pistons and rods. new crank and cam bearings. fitted with a new comp cam model xe274h-10 and a new double timing chain setup. brand new water pump. e7te heads new oil pump full new gasket kit fitted head gaskets valve oil pan timing cover crank seal etc. have a pair of 351w shorties. has a edelbrock twin plane alloy performer inlet manifold and a edelbrock 750cfm carb have pulleys to run a serp belt of v belt setup with correct rotation water pump. brand new hei distributor. not the prettiest of things but makes life very easy when wiring up (1 12 switched live wire and it will run) comes with everything to run. starter alt etc. also has a t5 world class WC 5 speedtransmissionwith ZERO miles rebuilt with a g-force kit as i was going to turbo charge. has a single piece prop at the correct length. currently hs it's original atlas rear axle fitted but will also come with a 4 lug 8.8 rear from a gt with a loc limited slip dif LSD. has all glass title interior everything is there. engine is currently just resting in the bay. needs mounts making up. (if it sealed a deal this is something i can make up as i have the materials to do so along with a new transmission cross member) along with exhaust and coolant lines. have a brand new mustang radiator that will suit fans etc etc. shorties headers. carbs. everything. the shell does need welding yes it has had some very poor repairs mainly to the splash guards with tin and rivets but it's savable.i unfortunately do not have the time to touch it at the moment. my other project has taken full priority as it's ananniversarypresent for my wife coming up at the end of august. if this sells then it will help fund if not. it will be kept and put aside ready to complete my plans of a fullfiberglassbody and chassis tube. currently selling cheap as i said funds would help me else where!saying that i am anywhere but egar to sell it. i build old british fords and this one has some sentimental value too. any questions you can email me directly pant-era@live.com thanks. joalso advertised elsewhere.finally i will be willing to build this for a potential customer in the future if that is something of interest. along with selling it without the v8 swap parts
