Description

MGB roadster, 964

Rust free, lack Plate California car, xcellent mechanicals and trim

One of the earliest and aesthetically most desirable MGBs…owned for many years by a retired English engineer, n California since new. IF EVER an MGB will be considered as a fine addition to a serious collection, t will certainly be a car such as this…an early ‘pull handle’ MGB. Its 98hp engine giving 105 mph performance, xcellent ride, andling, teering, hifting, nd timeless looks.

Excellent body with very good dark British Racing Green paint, erfect floors, ostly new interior…..beautifully done with matching seats, oor panels, oor tops, nd dash top.

Custom dark green carpets (hard to see in the photos but really nicely done), riginal steering wheel and radio, ew windshield, ew convertible top, oot cover.

Engine: 155-160 psi compression in every cylinder, 0+ psi oil pressure when warm, ero smoke cold or hot. Doesn’t come better in ANY other MGB. Transmission is quiet and shifts very nicely, rakes, teering, ide, tc. are all first rate.

Wire wheels, il cooler, ew clutch hydraulics, xcellent wiring and electricals, ostly new chrome, ery good rubber seals (windshield, eadlight, oor tops, tc.) and an overall very clean appearance.

What makes ownership of an MGB so enjoyable is the superb drivability, asy access to new and used parts, imple repairs and servicing, nd a high degree of reliability. Will easily cruise well above ANY speed limits, s roomy and comfortable, nd is (best of all) a blast to drive.
