Looking at the serial number and engine number on the 1622CC engine and the body number, hey all appear as car was born with.
A new rotisserie restoration just completed and driven just to check out all systems on car. Body taken off and all repairs needed were made on the rotisserie and also painted and buffed out, efore installing back on the restored frame.
Engine is has been gone through with a compression test before tearing down, ll cylinder were above 172 and stock is 175. The pistons were stock standard size, o engine has never been bored out, reated to a light hone and new rings installed, ew bearing and new gaskets along with a valve job were performed. Oil filter has been replaced with a screw on type and old style replaced. New water pump and oil pump installed. Cooling system and heating systems went through and cleaned and redone as needed, ll new hoses. Generator has been rebuilt and there is a new starter on the car.
Transmission has been rebuilt and new seals, ew clutch and throw out bearing, lso new seals on rear axle. Brake system has rebuilt calipers, heel cylinders, ads and shoes and new hoses along with new front rotors. Suspension has all wear parts replaced, nd steering rack with new boots and tie rods. New master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder.
Frame has had all new floor board, arine grade plywood and painted with two coats of Por15 on the frame. Shock redone and new fluid.
Body has been painted single stage Chariot Red and all chrome and bumper has been replaced with new parts.
Has a new Moss Motors Honey Tan leather interior, ith a dark brown carpet, ashboard has been recovered and new bezels installed and gauges replaced as needed. Electrical system in very good shape and works as it should. A new Robbins top has been installed and there is redone side curtains to go with car.
Wire wheels has been powered coated and have new tubes and new tires with zero miles on them.
Everything on this car has been replaced when needed and all parts were purchased from Moss Motors, ictoria British and Clarke Spares and all of top quality.
