Description

I am selling my Classic Mini Cooper. It has clean and clear California title. Original 73000 kilometers. Roughly 45000 miles. I am the second owner of the car. Imported from England. In California for last 10 years. Original right hand drive. Automatic transmission.
Title says is 1971 but it is from 1980s. Due to California import laws, t is changed to look older however car is produced in 1980s. So it is newer technology.
Car is fully renovated less than 500 miles ago. It is frame out restoration and around $50000 spent on the car. Everything works as expected and it can be a daily driver. Gets around 40 MPG. Can go up to 90 MPH.
I designed every single detail of this car and it took 2 years for me to finish it. I purchased every part personally and have right guys do it. Originally car is purchased for $15000 and it was in very good condition. I just wanted to bring it to a mint condition and this is the result. I am selling because I need money for down payment for home. Otherwise I wouldn't sell it at all.
Most of the parts are imported from England and all the parts used are top quality. There is no money spared for this restoration. I didn't restore it to sell, restored it to keep forever. Unfortunately no I have to sell it right after I finish it.
Exterior:
No rust or anything like that. British Racing Green IV metallic paint. It was originally this color as well. It was British Racing Green I, upgraded to British Racing Green IV. Quadruple layer clear coat. That's why it is so shiny. This is a $8000 paint job. Very expensive paint as well. Please see close up photos for the paint.
Top is off white. There are hood stripes and side lines. They are off white as well. They are all paint job and underneath the clear coat. Not cheap sticker on the paint. Fenders are imported from England. It is Wood and Pickett brand. Plastic not fiber glass. Hidden screws.
Original Wood and Pickett white rims with classic mini center hubs. Chrome center and edges. Chrome nuts. Rims are around $1000 and tires are around $1000. Wheel centers are $100 each.
Original Bumpers. Original headlights. Original grill. It is not possible to find original these anymore and aftermarket of these parts are not as good as original ones. That's why I re-chromed the original ones and used those.
No exhaust visible. Special BUUMPY California licence plate. Clear taillights.Cleat turn signals. I still have the originals. Chrome mirrors to match headlights, umper and grill. Chrome sides and door handles.
No windshield wipers. I had them removed before the paint job and closed the holes.
Interior:
All fine leather. Not a cheap leather or vinyl. Hand picked fine leather. Sugar white. I designed the interior myself with every single detail and had it done at a professional upholstery place.
Seats have diamond cut on the center with perforated leather. Sides are plain leather. Piping isBritish Racing Greenandall around the seat. Center design of the seat goes all the way down and continues to the behind.
Upper and lower rails on the console is also leather wrapped and top one is diamond cut. Rear shelf is also leather and it is also diamond cut.
Carpet and floor mats areBritish Racing Greenwith white leather edges. There are high quality sound proof underneaththe carpet. It is at the entire bottom of the car.
The center console is special order from London and made to order. I paid $2500 for the center console. It says Buumpy and Mini and there are 2 glove compartments. Push and pop style. It is finished with British Racing Green and changes color depending on the light angle and amount. Buumpy and Mini texts are off white. There are chrome rings around the air vents.
I put a simple looking stereo to match the car. No buttons. Just 1 knob. White stereo with Bluetooth and Pandora. There is also usb connection underneath to charge your phone.
White wood steering wheel with classic mini emblem in the center.
Door cards are diamond cut all fine leather with dark grey carbon fiber looking door furniture.
Seat belts are British Racing Green as well.
White rear view mirror.
There are 4 speakers and a 12" sub-woofer inside the car. 2 in the rear and 2 underneath the rear seat. Bottom speaker's frame is British Racing Green and speakers are Sony's best speakers. The rear one's are specifically bought white with perforated design to match seats. There are 2 amplifiers in the trunk. 1 for speakers and 1 for sub-woofer. Entire sound system cost me $3000 and it sounds amazing. It looks very elegant and sounds amazing at the same time.
For the sub-woofer in trunk and I order a special frame for these. All the frame and furniture wrapped with the same carpet used inside the car.
There are chrome mini cooper door sills at the edge of the both doors.
All the plastic, ubber, lass and other basic materials are fine. There is no weird sound or rattling noise. It is quiet inside with everything is in working condition.
Interior is surprisingly roomy. 4 people can sit very easily. I am 6 feet tall and I have no problem sitting and driving it.
Mechanical:
It has original engine and transmission inside with original 45000 miles. During restoration, e service the engine and transmission and flush all the liquids. Engine is very clean and quite with no leaks. Transmission is smooth. 998cc engine goes up to 90 miles per hour. It gets around 40 miles per gallon.
There are disc brakes in the front and drums in the back. Brakes and rotors are replaced and brand new.
All tires are brand new with less than 500 miles on them.
Underneath of the car is all checked out and there is no leaks or rust. It is super clean.
There is no electrical problems with the car. It is all checked out.
Car starts right up. No problem at all..
Overall:
It is like a brand new car. Showroom condition. A true classic looks like brand new. I get compliments everywhere I go. I park it somewhere people stop and take photos. Gets a lot of attention. Very rare car and it is the best mini in USA.
