This is a remarkable 300ZX, t was purchased new in Auburn CA has been garage kep, riginal sales sheet and window sticker as well as many years of maintenance and registration receipts. This owner went to great lengths to keep this 300ZX as original as possible. The attention to detail is indescribable on this automobile. The body of the car was always very solid, o dents, o scratches. Undersides are just as nice and dry as can be and no rust anywhere, ut over the years paint lost its luster.
In 2014 the car was professionally refinished . This particular car includes full leather seating surfaces that are like new showing no wear. Simply awesome, ynamic power seats, hich can be adjusted in over 10 different directions. Also included, s an option is the automatic climate control. Factory T-Tops are also good as new and have the inner shades. Electric defrost, ike new radials on factory excellent Z rims. Cold factory air with full tinted glass. Headlights work great. With its Hot Red paint and pristine gray leather interior, his 300ZX has the most balanced color combination. Most of these cars that were sold in the eighties had basic options. This car on the other hand has some very rare packages. The Z31 chassis designation was first introduced in 1983 as a 1984 Nissan/Datsun 300ZX (the hatch lid had both a Datsun and a Nissan badge) in the U.S. market. The 300ZX, s its predecessors, as known as a Nissan in other parts of the world. This continued in the U.S. until 1985 model year when Nissan standardized their brand name worldwide and dropped the Datsun badge. All publications for the Z31 chassis 300ZX and its predecessors were copyright Nissan North America. Designed by Kazumasu Takagi and his team of developers, he 300ZX improved aerodynamics and increased power when compared to its predecessor, he 280ZX. The newer Z-car had a drag coefficient of 0.30 and was powered by Japan's first mass-produced V6 engine instead of an inline 6. According to Nissan, he V6 engine was supposed to re-create the spirit of the original Fairlady Z.
The Z31 body was slightly restyled in 1986 with the addition of side skirts, lared fenders, nd sixteen inch wheels (turbo models only). Many black plastic trim pieces were also painted to match the body color, nd the hood scoop was removed. The car was given a final makeover in 1987 that included more aerodynamic bumpers, og lamps within the front air dam, nd 9004 bulb-based headlamps that replaced the outdated sealed beam headlights.
The 300ZX-titled reflector in the rear was updated to a narrow set of tail lights running the entire width of the car and an LED third brake light on top of the rear hatch. The Z31 continued selling until 1989, ore than any other Z-Car at the time. Over 70,000 units were sold in 1985. Cars produced from 1984-1985 are referred to as "Zenki" models, hile cars produced from 1987-1989 are known as "Kouki" models. The 1986 models are a special due to sharing some major features from both. They are sometimes referred to as "Chuki" models, ut are usually grouped with the Zenki models because of the head and tail lights.
The Z31 generation featured five engine options. A turbocharged dual over head cam 2.0 L straight-six (RB20DET, sed in the 200ZR), turbocharged single over head cam 2.0 L V6 (VG20ET, ound in 200Z/ZS/ZG), naturally aspirated single over head cam 3.0 L V6 (VG30E, ound in 300ZX), turbocharged single over head cam 3.0 L V6 (VG30ET, sed in 300ZX Turbo) and a naturally aspirated dual over head cam 3.0 L V6 (VG30DE, sed in 300ZR).
The Z32 had a naturally aspirated dual over head cam 3.0 L V6 (VG30DE) or a twin turbocharged dual over head cam 3.0 L V6 (VG30DETT). The Z31 and Z32 had electronic fuel injection (EFI), nd were rear wheel drive. They were available in either left or right hand drive.
The engine compartment is very clean. This car is 29 years old, ut you would never know it. You can see how well the owner took care of it.
The interior isexceptionallynice. There is very little you can find wrong with it.

Overseas customers will be charged a $30.00 fee for wire transfers.
We must collect a vehicle inventory tax of .002286% and a small documentary fee of $75.00 on ALL sales.
