Restore/Update was done in 2006 for a Florida Dr. who past away before completion. A Bossier City LaBusinessman who was friends of the DR.s purchased the car after it was complete and brought it to Louisiana. I purchased the car in 2013 and have driven it about 1000 miles in 2 years locally with 1 trip to Hot Springs Ark. 360 mile round trip. I would jump in and drive ANYWHERE. RUNS GREAT! Selling due to other projects that need attention.

Engine was Upgraded to a Chevy 350 with a Tri-Carb set-up, eaders and dual exhaust. MSDignition,TH350 Automatic, lectrical Upgraded to 12 volt, lectric Fuel Pump, ewFuel tank.Air Conditioning added. Runs and Shifts Great, /C will need to be converted unless you have access to R-12. Stereo/ CD player mounted in under-dash center mount with Oil Pressure, ater Temp, as Gauges and A/C Vents and blower . There inNO heater set up.

All Hudson suspension has beenretained and car could be returned to it's original specs easily if so desired. The original Speedometer, lock and Radio Light up when lights turned on, one are in operating condition due to 12 volt upgrade and Speedometerneeds to be rebuilt,but makes the dash complete. Also has His & Hers Glove boxes and Original Owners Manuel.

Leather upholstery over Hudsonseatframes and springs in Front andRear seats with seat belts,Built-in large center Arm Restinrear seat. Door panels, ear side panels, ash padall in matchinggray Tweed, Headliner matches maroon seat trim. Carpet inside and in trunk in great condition.

The 1949 Hudson was the 2nd year of the"Step Down" Floor that was created by a Revolutionary Uni-Body design that lowered the floor between the frame rails. Fender Skirts made the whole package lower to the ground for better handling, he un-operable Side Pipes also lower the stance. Sun-Visor, river-side Spot Light, ngled Radio Antennagive the Sleek Look.

This car has some of the most advanced styling and features of it's day. Many people ask ifit has been "Chopped & Channeled" and are surprised when I tell them, Hudson Built it that Way.
