For sale here is my 1967 Barracuda. I've had this car since I was 14; roughly half my life. I have over 30k invested, ears of my life, weat, lood, nd tears. The car originally came with a 273. Unfortunately, he car had a 318 in it when I purchased it, o I procured a 340, 27 tranny, nd 8 3/4 Posi 3.92 from a 69 Dart GT parts car I also had.
Gibson High Performance did all the necessary machining of the engine. The pistons are original, s this was a very low miles 340. Myself and Robert Croft, former professional racing engine builder, ssembled and tested the motor. Rotating assembly is internally balanced, o you should use a neutral balance torque converter, hich it has (factory unit). Crower Beast cam 508 lift 292 duration, omp Camps valve train, levite 77 bearings, opar HiPo oil pump with hardened distributor shaft, RP hardware torqued to proper spec, ealed Power moly rings, delbrock Toerker II intake, ooker Comp headers (not yet installed), SD 6AL ignition and distributor, olley 750 double pump and feed carburetor, t cetera.
While I was in Iraq in 2008, y father was able to take the car to Chem Strip in NC, here the car was dipped to remove all paint and body work. I spent over 20k dollars and over 2 years working late into the night with Stephen Crandall, professional body and paint technician, ompletely restoring and improving the bare steel body on a rotisserie. OVER 4,000 HOURS just in body work. Excuse the pictures, ollen is all over the car. I doubt highly that there are many...or any...Barracudas in Existance with this perfect of a body. I AM PERFECTIONIST. Welded in tubular strut braces, orque boxes, ubframe connectors. The white stripe is painted on, ot a decal. Du Pont Plum Crazy purple, bviously. Body assembled with stainless bolts and nuts. Body steel is mostly original, nd areas repaired used high quality aftermarket steel or hand made factory thickness metal. The only major skins replaced are the driver quarter (you CANT tell) and the front floor pans. The original driver pan was probably ok, ut I HATE BONDO! Speaking of which, here is NO BONDO on my car. I was there when all work was performed or performing it myself. Only light filler and high build primer sanded to 600 grit before painting. Have probably all original fasteners, mblems, rim, hrome et cetera in crates in my shop.
I have broken in the engine on a stand, nd it truly is a BEAST. I have about a 30 second video of it running somewhere. I haven't done much with the transmission, eally. It shifted fine and drove before disassembly. Rear end still has 5x4"
Includes the car body itself, nd almost everything to complete the build. I just don't have time anymore. I know the seats were shot, nd it needs a windshield and gasket. And of course interior stuff. I've done all the expensive work.
Also comes with spare unworked Year One passenger quarter panel, pare nose panel. Has all other original vent Windows, ide windows, ack glass, t cetera.
Car currently has Just Suspension polyurethane bushing kit, ew pitman arm, dler arm, tainless tie rods, tiffer torsion bars and lower control arms, ubular upper control arms, ssentially a brand new suspension. 5k in parts alone there. Super stock rear springs. Also comes with Just Suspension front and rear sway bar kit, olylock engine mounts, ilwood front disk brakes, tainless brake line kit (and originals), ilwood aluminum master cylinder, brand new Weld 5x4.5 wheels, 5x7 Pro Star. Too much else to list.
This car is as close to perfect as is humanly possible. I invite you if you wish to search this entire car over for flaws; it's almost perfect. I just can't dedicate the time to it to finish it. And I need the shop space. It's so close to being finished!
I am a perfectionist in every thing I do. This car, y car, s no exception.
Anything else you want to know, ust ask. I'm very firm on what I want for the car, nd I don't really care whether it sells or not. NO I won't reveal my reserve. NO I won't take a trade (Unless a 2016 Subaru WRX or STI with low miles). You pickup locally. I can sell the trailer with it potentially, ut is not included. BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING. CASH IN HAND ONLY. Or electronic wire transfer. The car WILL NOT leave my house without that.
