Description

1971 Plymouth Scamp up for sale. If you have been looking for a nice clean all original sheetmetal A-body project. this is it. Lots of work has been done to this little Mopar. including new vinyl top. new bumpers front and rear. new rear valance. new tires. rebuilt 225 slant six engine. new headliner. new dash pad. new carpet. new package tray. new gas tank. new master cylinder and booster. new radiator. New door panels. originals included. Front bench. headliner and vinyl top were done by Ed's Upholstery Shop on Boulder Hwy here in Vegas. nbsp; the same shop featured on American Restoration TV show. Charlie is the man and did an excellent job all around. It was not cheap. Starts and runs good. Transmission shifts fine and I had the kickdown linkage adjusted properly by a local transmission shop so you dont have to drive it with the column shift. Lots of parts included in sale. including new heater core. trunk weather stripping from year one. heater box rebuild kit. extra heater box but it was damaged in shipping. new set of door handles. locks. and ignition. under hood rubber bumper kit. New cardboard glovebox from YearOne included. Headlights and brake lights work. All the guages work. including gas. temp. altimeter. odometer. speedometer. No rust in floorpans. trunk. or rear quarters. No rust anywhere. Body was primered due to the trim holes being filled in with bondo. not welded. Originally a yellow car with black interior. This A-body is 99 percent complete. and the only parts I can think of that are missing are the windshield washer reservoir and the original tire jack. What is still needs: Front transmission seal has a slow leak. and has wiring issues with regard to the heating and A/C. Dash still needs to be secured to the frame. its just sitting there for looks. Driver side front fender needs attention. Windshield wipers don't work. One of the parking lights is out. Currently registered and insured and driven occasionally. Clean title in my name. I bought this Scamp from the original owner's son. and I have the original build sheets from underneath the back seat which he framed.
