Factory straight 8 engine with 3 speed on column.

Car was redone back in 05-07 and never really finished. Changed hands a couple of times since then from what I can tell. Car will run, drive, top. I bought it because it was a solid coupe that I could street rod. But, really hate to chop up a car that is in such good shape and so close to complete. Best I can tell only around 20,000 of these particular model (series 28) were built. Interior is worst part of the car. I can take pics of anything that you may want to see. Has clear title. Early production 1940 model so the title says 1939. But all numbers match the car.

From the letters I've found in the car from the owner that had it in 05, e spent close to $16k on the car. Engine rebuilt, rake system, ew gas tank, tc. The grill has been rechromed. The engine has a 2 barrel carb and intake on it now instead of the original 1 barrel. The only thing this car needs to be a driver is to have the lights wired up. The car was switched over to 12 volts and never finished the lighting. The front headlight buckets and bulbs are brand new, nd I have new trim rings.

Please check out the link above for more detailed pictures.

Trunk floor is almost perfect, ne metal patch in the rear "roll pan" part behind the rear bumper.

Interior floors have had some patches to cover some small rust holes. It would be pretty simple to remove the patches and simply weld up the holes in the floor. The patches cover way more of the floor than what it actually rusted out.

The rest of the body has had a couple metal patches but in here and there. Bottom outer skin of driver's door, ne on the body behind the rear fender where the fender bolts to. A couple on the drip rail edge of the trunk gutter. Most of all the rust repair was done with metal, ot alot of bondo in the car.

Appears to be factory tinted glass, ll is good and usable.

Missing one hood vent piece, have 2 of the 3 missing in the pictures.

The hood needs to be adjusted, itting too far forward.

The tires are showing some dryrot around the whitewall edge. I wouldn't mind driving it localled but anything more than that and I would invest in new tires.

Engine runs great with no smoke, rans shifts through all gears. Brakes were as good or better than what you would expect from a 1940 car.

The interior needs door and side panels along with a headliner. Appears that all of the trim is there.

Seats are there and functional but need to be restored/recovered.

Alot of the rubbers on the car appear to have been put on new at some point. And possibly the window felts and tracks but I don't know for sure.

I try to detail everything about the car. Feel free to ask any other questions.
