This 1939 Pontiac 2dr Sedanis about 95% complete and 100% original. It does NOT run, rive, top or steer.
It has been parked because of steering gear internally broken in 1970 in garage for last 40+ years and spent 73 of its 75 years in Colorado.
I have all the original documents from original owner and state of Colorado paper work all from 1939.
The car has above average body is straight and solid body/frame/floors. Not a lot of body work needed some minor rust where rear fenders bolt to body on inner wheel well and2-3 stress cracks on front fenders RH ft fender is the only rough spot on car as it was damaged when steering gear broke.
The car has never sat out in the fields or even in a barn it has been garaged when not driven. It has complete original unmolested never removed drive train. The engine does turn by hand with spark plugs out feels free and has good enough compression to make turning by hand a lot tougher.
Everything is sitting just as seen in pictures. All glass needs replaced and all glass is flat and available anywhere fairly cheap. I have most of the original glass but it’s cracked or cloudy.
Only the interior has been disassembled and has been bagged and labeled and boxed up.
I have both bumpers with center medallions BUT one bumper is broke the brackets are fine. Remember car is about 95% complete missing very little if you are restoring. Great car to go many different directions from survivor driver to full restore or street rod. Very nice clean slate that no one has modified or restored so you don't have to worry about hack work or layers of paint. Please remember this car is a PROJECT does not run or drive.
MULTI -CAR HAULERS will NOT haul “No Brakes, o Parking Brake, o Steering. Beware of Montway they will use forklift and I will not allow it.
**The vehicle must be hauled on a trailer not towed.**
***I have car listed locally and reserve the right to end auction at any time for any reason.***
