Just completed a 4 year 100% nut and bolt "rotisserie restoration" of a 100% numbers matching. 99%rust free 79 Trans Am. Less than 500 careful break in miles have been driven without any issues!The laser straight body was taken down to bare metal and two small quarter size rust holes were discovered behind each rear tire. The passengers side floor was weak so that was replaced as well. The rest is 100% GM sheet metal and was in excellent condition. Both the numbers correct 400 engine and the 4 speed transmission were both professionally rebuilt. The engine is bored . 30 over and features minor head work and a camshaft change. Of course the original Q-Jet was rebuilt and operates like it should without any issues'. The 4 speed shifter was sent out for rebuilt and new shifting arms and bushings were installed. The four wheel disc rear end was just freshened up with new seals and gaskets and new rear brake calipers. etc!Complete new Air Conditoning system: New lines. compressor. new evaporator. etc!. Blows nice and cold!All new stainless fuel and brake lines. with the correct power brake booster. master cyl. All new tinted glass . Weatherstripping. T-Top weatherstrippingMint condition interior that features a Randy Combs restored dash bezel. Goregous Black paint job with excellent body lines and door gaps! Looks better than new.
