Description

Hello classic car enthusiasts world wide. Whether you're a diehard Pontiac fan love all sorts of unique vintage cars or simply have a passion for the ever so popular station wagon this is the cream of the crop. What you are looking at is a very rare and highly desirable 1963 Pontiac Safari station wagon that came from the factory with a lot of options. First allow me to talk about the engine. This is a 389 V8 with factory Tri-Power. It is numbers matching and came from the factory this way! Its engine code is the correct 266. Above that is stamped 112041. The heads are also factory original and stamped 543797.While most people would have installed multiple chrome air-cleaners by now this car retains its original and highly sought after dual snorkel Tri-Power air-cleaner!Other options on this beauty are as follows. Power Brakes Power Steering Rear Electric Antenna 9 passenger (third seat) Heavy Duty 4 Core Radiator Steel Fan Shroud Code #8 - 3.42 geared Safety Trac "Positraction" Rear End Rear Electric Power Window Power Seats Deluxe Push Button Radio 2 Speed Wipers Back up Lights Courtesy Light Dome & Reading LightDeluxe Wheel Discsand Clock. The paint and body work is only a few months old and painted a vibrant 2 tone - 2 stage burgundy and white. This accents the tri-tone burgundy and white upholstery very nicely. Thin white wall radial tires are mounted on the original steel wheels and the original 1963 Pontiac hubcaps are fully polished. Dual exhaust helps that big 389 engine breathe very well and makes it sound excellent. The transmission is a 3 speed automatic and the factory shifter is mounted on the column. There is a large stack of receipts that go with the car. Some of the receipts date back a long time and thats great because it shows the history. There is even vintage chewing gum and matches from the 1960s inside the glovebox. We feel that all of these things should continue to go with the car.*Note* I recently took the car to the muffler shop and had dual exhaust installed. Retro 'Smithy' mufflers and 2" pipe give the car power as well as a nice tone. I have the receipts and it will go with the car.Out of all the models that Pontiac manufactured in 1963 the 9 passenger station wagon was the least amount produced. And out of that number there were only a handful of these cars that came from the factory with Tri-Power and all of these other wonderful options! Don't let this rarity slip by folks. If you are a serious buyer I will let it go at a fraction of my investment and a fraction of what I feel this is worth. Don't be afraid to call and make an offer. Buying a home forces the sale of this. All sales are final. Ask all questions prior to bidding and/or buying. There are no returns no refunds guarantee's or exchanges. I know of two very reputable and reliable Auto Transport Companies. Buyer pays for shipping and I will see to it that the car arrives in a safe and prompt manner. Also I will gladly ship this car oversea's and know of a reputable over sea's shipping company in Orange County California USA. I might list this in collectorsmagazines therefor I reserve the right to end auction at any time. Feel free to contact me any time. Thank you and have a wonderful day. Alex - (909)-437-2068.
