This is a 1955 Pontiac safari 2 dr wagon, have had a lot of old cars in the past but this car by far draws the most attention. You cant drive it anywhere with out people wanting to come up and talk about it. It is a 55 Pontiac safari 2 dr wagon there where only around 3500 ever made it was Pontiacs version of the chevy nomad. it was factory air conditioning still has controls on the dashIts drivetrain is a 1965 400 out of aolds 442with aluminum intake and 850 cfm demon carb it has a auto trans with a hurst dual gate shifter, t has a narrowed 9" ford rear with coil overs and ladder bars with 31x18.50 Mickey Thompson sportsman rear tires has rocket racing launcher wheels 15x4" up front.it has power disc brakes themaster cylinder and brake booster are mountedunder the dash nice set up, nd rack and pinion steeringThe car runs and drives, ranks up first time everytime. The car is anice presentable car older restoration but still looks good,has been chopped a few inches and hood opens forward,all the dash gauges like temp, lt, ndfuel all work headlights, linkers, ven the cigarette lighter all work and has tilt column.There is ABSOLUTELY NO RUST ANYWHERE IN THE CAR! it is a street legal pro street car,jump in drive and have fun car not perfect but nice!
