It's Spring! Time for the classics to come out! Up for auction here is my mint condition 1985.5 Porsche 944. The 1/2 year of the 1985 944 was when Porsche really stepped up it's game with this model and the 944 was given all of the major upgrades - making it a true touring car. It is an unbelievable time capsule with 26,400 original miles. The interior is in amazing shape - not a crack or tear. The car has had 3 owners including me. I have the original price sticker, he original bill of sale, he original paperwork and business card of the salesman who sold it back in 1985 and the complete manual, ools, pare and touch up paint that the car came with the day it was delivered. I purchased this vehicle for fun because I always wanted one. I searched for a mint condition car with low mileage - drove it a little and wiped it with a diaper all winter. I found another vehicle that I want so I am going to sell this one to the right buyer so I can make room in my garage for the next one. I will miss this car, ot only because it is awesome to look at and drive, ut everyone who sees it is amazed how truly clean and pristine this car is. It turns heads and gets compliments every time I take it out of the garage. From what I know about it, t hasn't seen a cloudy day since it was purchased. It starts right up, rives straight and pulls strong. The mileage is accurate...as is the car-fax report. I have only driven it a few hundred miles since I purchased it. There are no leaks or mechanical issues at all...Everything works as it should. As fas as the mechanicals go, t was recently serviced right before I got it (within the past year) and it has a new water pump, new timing belt, nd a new factory OEM battery. The tires are old, ut in very good condition. The drive is straight, ut around 60mph, he steering wheel shakes a little. My guess is thatches is due to some flat spots on the older tires. There has been no major paint work or repairs that I can tell or see. I am told that the 2 previous owners had touched up here and there. There are some touch up paint spots on the front of the hood and lower air dam from wear and tear and road chips. This is a 30 year old vehicle, nd for a car that age, the paint and the entire care is virtually immaculate. You won't be disappointed.
