Description

This is a numbers matching (as per the Kardex) restoration project. Originally Slate Grey with a red interior when new, this little 911 sat for many years before I purchased it. The previous owner embarked upon a short lived restoration attempt, going so far as to rivet on new outer rockers which appear to be the superseded 993 style pieces. Undoubtedly any early 911 restoration is not for the faint of heart or those afraid to spend significant sums of money.
My original intention was to mothball the car until my 1967 911S restoration was finished. Unfortunately, the pace and cost of the 911S restoration has given me serious pause about starting the process over again. I believe that this would be a stunning car when finished, but at the moment the funds would be better used in attempting to finish my 911S.
Additional pictures are available on request, but if you don't see something here, it's not included. Feel free to ask questions, and the car is available for inspection.
The car is listed elsewhere for sale and I reserve the right to end the auction early.

The reserve has been met so the car will sell to the highest bidder here on eBay. Please feel free to ask any additional questions. I will provide reasonable help in arranging shipping, but it is the buyer's responsibility. The car is located at a commercial address to facilitate being picked up by a transporter.

I also would like to mention that the engine in the car turns over freely, although I have not attempted to start it after it has sat for so long. Here are also some additional pictures of the underside for those who asked. Because of it's age, the car is sold on a Bill of Sale.
