Description

Beautiful 1965 Shelby Cobra. Professionally built replica with all the right components. Wimbledon white with blue stripes (In my opinion. the best color combo because you don't see it often - like blue. red. or black). I have always seemed to gravitate to vehicles that are uncommon. I don't want someone to drive up next to me in the same vehicle I am in! Immaculate interior with leather and 5 point harnesses (even the door hinges are leather wrapped). Frame is powder coated "2x5" and "2x4" rectangle steel tubular main rail ladder type frame. full lateral cross members and "2x2"outriggers. In between the frame and the body is 1/8” hard rubber to eliminate any body noise. Heat shielded interior. Fully finished trunk. This is not your Cobra body on a mustang frame replica with a 5. 0 motor! This is a high end reproduction. Motor is a 351W with cam. Trick Flow heads. Holly 650 double pumper. MSD ignition. ceramic coated headers. braided stainless steel lines throughout with alloy fittings. Flaming River stainless joints and steering shaft. Quick change oil filter with all stainless steel lines and fittings (just like the originals). Estimate 500hp. Car is very fast and drives like it's on railsTransmission is a T-5 5speed with scatter shield. Disc brakesMagnum chrome rims - Like I said. I like to be different! They look amazing! If you want to put Halibrand wheels on it. be my guest. Cobra key fob made in England. Rear bumper components. hood latches. and AC brake and clutch pedals - brand new in the box - PicturedBeautiful High end leather tonneau cover (seals the cockpit at car shows). I was told it was made by Classic Roadsters. but there is no identifying cowl tag. just the VIN tag. Titled as a 1965 Ford. Texas Title. Always stored in climate controlled garage. Never seen rain. The car looks and drives amazing. Needs nothing. Turns heads everywhere it goes. Paint is deep and in great condition (pictures). I looked long and hard for one of this quality. but current situation dictates I sell a couple of toys. I have set a very reasonable reserve for a Cobra of this quality. Having said that. I am not giving it away. o please don't ask what the reserve is or make low ball offers. If it doesn't sell. my wife may be a little upset. but I won't be. :-)A non-refundable $750 deposit will be required at the end of the auction. The remainder will be due in cash or certified check/personal check/wire transfer. I am listing the car locally as well; as such the auction may end early. The vehicle is being sold as-is where-is with no warranty implied. Vehicle will be released once all funds are secured. I will work with your shipper but you will need to set it up. All inspections of the car are welcome. and must be done prior to the end of the auction.
