Description

For sale, my lovely 1973 Triumph Stag Roadster. This car is "The one to have" if you are looking for a super clean 100% rust and damage free example. A life long resident of California, it is extremely clean inside and out. With a freshly rebuilt (less than 200 miles) motor, tuned and refurbished automatic transmission, new shocks, springs, brakes, stainless steel big bore exhaust system, A/C, PS, PB (Disk Front Drum Rear, New Tires, wire wheels removable Hard to, new wheeled "Hard Top Stand", and a new convertible top! In short it is an extremely nice car that has benefited from, many thousands of dollars of new parts, as well as hundreds of hours of work by a life long Stag collector and restorer! In addition to all of the above, this car also boasts, a current California Registration, full detailed receipts, extensive records, as well as a full set of manuals and books! In addition to all of the above the car has received one of the most important Up-Grades of all, a Holly 4 barrel Carburetor and manifold! Of course the original excellent condition set of Stromburg carburetor, manifold, and air cleaners are included with the sale. The Holly along with the new big bore stainless steel exhaust system and K&N air filter guarantee quick starts, easy tuning as well as 25+ additional horse power!
In short this is a mechanically excellent machine. "What does it need" to be the Show stopper that it will become? A new paint jo, minor repair to the drivers seat upholstery and perhaps a fresh set of carpets. All available and well within the skills of any competent home hobbyist. So drive it through the fall and finish it up during the winter for a car that will give you a lifetime of proud Stag ownership.
The Triumph Stag is considered by collectors as one of the most interesting and collectable cars produced by the British Industry in the post war years. Long undervalued they are rising fast in value and enjoy the distinction of being on the short list of best collector car buys by "Classic and Sports Car " magazine. On top of all that, they are a vintage car that may stand up to the demands of modern fast road travel.
I am happy to answer any and all questions.
