Up for auction is my 1959 Volkswagen Beetle (Type 1) I have owned this Volkswagen for over 3 years. I'm the 3rd owner! I have enjoyed this little guy so much, ut I have other priorities at this time. This Volkswagen was originally from Virginia and spent his whole life there until being brought to Ohio. I purchased the bug from a Volkswagen collector who bought him and hauled him on a flat bed from Virginia. You can tell that he was always garaged and never exposed to any salt. He is 100% original with the exception of the ash tray which has been misplaced. You would be hard pressed to find another 1959 Volkswagen is this condition! Garage kept!
The color is Kalahari beige and with some buffing he will shine like new. His body is very solid; no rust holes at all. Super solid! Doors do not sag at all. Everything is tight and as it should be, s told to me by people who bought these little cars brand new in the 1950's and 1960's. The floor pans are solid, o rust and never replaced or patched. See pictures of this area. The paint is original and has some spots where the paint peeled off. See pictures of this area too please. Front bumper was removed when hauled on the flat bed. I recently put it back on. This may need adjustment. Have all the over riders and hardware. The interior is as close to perfect as could be. It's blue with white piping. It's MINT! No issues, o smells, o holes or tears. He was never smoked in. Headliner is in great condition, oor inserts are perfect. Just an all around survivor Volkswagen!
He runs, rives and stops as he should. Never wrecked or damaged! Only 101,170 original miles!I have just serviced the little guy. The following have been replaced: new original Volkswagen fuel reserve tap under the gas tank, ew Bosch starter, ew Bosch spark plugs, ew Bosch 6V coil and a new steering box. A full tune up was also performed and included new wires, ap, otor and condenser.I have a clean and clear title in my name and in hand. The bidding starts at 0.99 and is being offered at NO RESERVE! I want someone to enjoy and drive the little car.The Volkswagen is located in Lorain, hio. Lorain, hio is 35 miles west of Cleveland, hio.
I can help load him on your trailer if need be, r you can drive him home! :)
If you would like pictures of anything specific please ask.
Thank You for Looking. Any Questions Please Ask.
Thanks!
1959 Volkswagen Beetle. All original Survivor! Rare! I run and drive great! LQQK
