This is your chance to own a very original all numbers matching 1957 VW Oval Window Bug.I purchased thecar from the original family that had the bug shippedfrom Germanyto Long Beach, A.The bug has remained in the family since that time.They had plans to restore the bug, nd started by removing all of the glass and chrome trim, umpers and lights, nd they even started to sand it.They replaced all four fenders with aftermarket ones.Do to health issues, hey stopped shortly after that and put the car in storage. The car has sat there since 1990.The car has its original 36 HP Motor and Original Trans Axel.The Motor turns freely, ut I have not attempted to start it.I also have the original keys for the car.The car has many new parts that includes running boards, ubber seals, ead light buckets, tc.All of the originalglass is there, ut the windshield had a crack in it.
I also haveoriginaldrivers side front and rear fenders in great conditionavailable for purchase, hey ARE NOT included in the sale. When I checked the car over I didn't see any rust issues, nd the floor pans are in great condition.The owner also has a photo of the car beingtaken off the ship in long beach when it was shipped here from Germany, will include it in the sale. The car has a import tag under the hood which is really neat. It evenhas its original keys, his would be a great restoration project. Oval bugskeep going up in price.Title in hand.
