Karmann Ghia Convertible
Here's the deal, I bought this '71 Cabrio and planned on doing a full ground-up restoration. The car is a true convertible not a chopped sedan and the rockers are solid.
I invested $4k in restoring its original 1600 and returned the color to the original Ravena Green in the engine compartment. Its mostly original but as you can see in the photos I removed the heaters and upgraded the ignition... its awesome!! I drive this car about once every two weeks; drives amazing!! I also replaced 99% of the electrical wiring, senders, etc. Otherwise all electrical is brand new as well as many other items and comes with several hundred dollars worth of new parts still in boxes. What you see is what you get. It's an old car, if you're expecting new tires, airbags, vacumme advance, EGR and all that nonsense, look elsewhere.
When I drive this classic it turns more heads than my $65k daily driver. This Ghia may look rough and obviously could use some aesthetical work inside and out, but drives great and has the major components in good shape so it can be driven just as it is.
As much as I love it, I have decided to spend my money on a classic Porsche which means I must part with the VW. Please don't ask me stupid questions like "how many miles does it have?" and "does it leak oil?" If you know classic Volkswagens you should know the answer. You should also know the value of a true convertible Karmann Ghia.
I'm asking what the car is worth to me, $7,900... but I need space in my garage so make me an offer I can't resist.

I will not ship so you much arrange for that. I will gladly drive it to the nearest KMart Shopping Center 1 mile from my home and meet your transportation company for delivery.
