The "DIRTY VIRGIN, a former KCW Oval is finally up for sale. Full Pan-Off Restoration 1956 Oval Window, Fold Rag Top Beetle. Restoration was done in 2010 with Kevin "PigPen" McCain completing final assembly. Vehicle has been featured in Hot VW Magazine & Ultra VW Magazine. Multiple "Best of Show" wins at such shows as the Daytona's WinterJam, iami's Volksblast and the Pasco Bug Jam where it also won for Best Paint. No screw was left un-turned in the restoration process, iterally.
Under Carriage and Accents: Copper Vein Hammertone Powder Coat was applied to the refinished pan and engine tins. All suspension parts including the OldSpeed 6" Narrowed Beam w/ shock towers were Ceramic Coated Gloss Black. 4-Wheel Disc brakes make this car stop on a dime. All Stainless brake lines were installed and Brake calipers were also powder coated. Stainless Steel trim was installed as well as Panama Tan running board mat with Wide Stainless Steel Running Board trim as an accent. Chrome Front and Rear Bumpers w/ Bumper guards were installed along with chrome Europen bumper bracket covers front and rear. Billstein shocks make this super low Oval ride like a Cadillac, O AIR BAGS HERE!
Stainless steel Pan Head Nuts, olts, nd screws were used to replace original, usted ones/ All new Rubbers were used to take the place of originals that were weather beaten, racked or ripped.
Exterior: Custom Blended PPG Base Coat / Clear Coat was applied and cut & buffed to perfection. 3-Fold Rag Top Frame was sandblasted and Chrome plated. West Coast Classic Restorations fabricated the 3-Fold Cloth Rag Top that was installed along with a rare European Clear Rag Top Deflector to help with noise while driving with the top open is included.
Convertible Rear Deck Lid accents the engine compartment along with Original Dealer of Purchase VW Dealer Tag Frame restored in accenting colors.
