This is an 1965 Volvo (Volvoville) convertible. It is a rolling chassis. ready for fill restoration or to be turned into a daily driver. Missing is the dash with instruments. Motor. transmission. drive shaft. all the interior. spare tire. jack and many other parts that I cannot think of right now. There are many parts sources out there and I have some sources as well. It is currently wired for a B20 with fuel injection. right down to the gas tank (different than the carb B18 tank) brain and electronic hookups for the Bosch fuel injected engine. It has a lot of rust in the inner rockers. as I have tried to show in some of the pictures. as well as some filler in the body. It rolls and has an original steering wheel. so it steers. I bought the car years ago from a gentleman who has since passed away. But I was assured by him that he and Irv Gordon verified it as an original Volvoville Volvo. If you aren't familiar. There is a fair amount of information on the web about them. who made them. how they were reinforced. where the tops were made. etc. The number of them produced seems to be between 31 and 50 some. either end. makes then quite rare and this vehicle restored to 100 points. this could bring a lot of money. Hagerty shows a 1967 1800S Coupe in concours condition. bringing $77. 00 on 1/15/2015.
