The '72 Corvette marked the beginning of the end for vintage, igh performance. Insurance companies and the Federal Government had started to put the Kybosh on all out horsepower and the Big Block engine was in their cross hairs. By '74 the Big Block was in its last year of production in the Corvette and hp was down. However, t was still a sports car and could outperform just about anything else around. But, n '72 you could still get very respectable performance out of America's Sports Car!
This '72 came to us from a very caring, ocal So. Cal owner who had taken very good care of it during his stewardship. Other than a very nice repaint in the correct Steel Cities Gray, he car is VERY original, ncluding the drivetrain and interior and it looks and runs like a champ! We've got excellent owner and service history and documentation including the Window sticker and photos of the car at the original dealer when it was brand new! Options include the LS5 454 Big Block, -spd transmission, actory Air Conditioning, ilt/Tele steering column, ower Steering, ower Windows, eluxe interior w/leather seats and factory am/fm stereo. It's getting harder and harder to find nice, nmolested examples. This is one of them.
