Description

72' C10 SHORTBEDFor sale is a 1972 true shortbed that is on its way to be a pretty nice truck! The body was recently taken off to paint the frame and freshen up body mounts and bushings. the 72 has a 427 (not sure on the year i can only see the front numbers in front of the passenger cylinder head and it comes back as either a 396 or 427) big block chevy that has been rebuilt recently and th400 transmission. truck has a nice loppey idle to it with hpc coated headers and dual flowmaster exhaust. 72 has 5 lug with disk brakes in front and drum rear. manual steering (but steers pretty good for manual) as for the body on it. front clip is clean with new inner fenders. doors and cab are clean as well with new rockers installed at some point in its lifetime. there is some rust on the pass bed side but very little. tailgate is super straight and rust free with a couple dings. inside the bed is super good and not all beat up like most. just has some surface rust. both front and rear chrome bumpers are new. front grill assembly is in great condition! Glass is all in great shape! has a brand new molded black carpet kit. seat is in great shape but used. gauge cluster (showing 62. 00 miles) is in amazing condition with factory tach and vacuum gauge. some of the gauges are working but some need to be hooked up i am assuming. dash has not been cut for a stereo. turn signals. headlights. taillights all are in working order. truck currently is sitting at stock ride height and on rally type wheels and tires that are in god condition. what i would do with the truck next. I would probably do a static drop with some cpp springs and spindals in front. get the truck painted. and probably put some wide white wall tires on the rally wheels or buy some of those 18 billet rally look alike wheels. to sum it up. this is a running driving truck that is not a rust bucket and is on its way to be a pretty nice truck that just needs cosmetic work and your choice of color. and put your twist on it! Please call or text with any questions 801-604-6425 I have the truck for sale locally so i reserve the right to end the auction if it sells before handalso the truck is sold AS IS NO WARRANTYI have a couple of shippers i have used in the past to help you get the truck delivered but you are responsible for all shipping charges. a good rule of thumb on how much it costs to ship it usually is about $1. 50 per loaded mile. hope this helps Thanks John
