This is a show winning rat rod that draws major attention at every show it's been to. The pool table bed is functional, nd has had many games played on it at shows. The truck is set up with a leveling system on all 4 corners so that a good game can be played on the table. The 2 lights above the table are also functional and can be lit at the flip of a switch. The truck is sitting on a professionally welded and fabricated, ustom 2x4 tube chassis that has been sleeved from the cab forward, nd miniature pool balls installed in the openings. Attached front and rear is a Volkswagen suspension system from a 1971 Karmann Ghia. The front has 2" drop spindles with additional suspension adjustments for ride heights. Brand new calipers, hocks, nd wheel bearings. It is steered by a rack and pinion from a Dodge Omni, nd is also new. The rear suspension is all stock Volkswagen with a set of Afco adjustable coilovers and torsion bar eliminators. The engine and transmission are used, ut it is driven everywhere. Under the pool table is a brand new fuel tank from a Volkswagen Beetle. The battery, ent tubes (used to direct heat away from the engine), nd engine and transmission are all located under the pool table, hich is removable via 6 bolts accessible from the side pockets of the table to gain access to everything underneath. The exhaust system is a Sidewinder 1 5/8" header with and insert muffler that exits behind the right rear tire. All the master cylinders and brake lines are brand new and installed ina very clean manner. There are 3 master cylinders; 1 for front brakes, for rear brakes, nd 1 for the hydraulic clutch. It has all the necessities for being legally driven on the highway. Headlights (HI/LO), ll turn signals, azard lights, ear view mirror, nd driver side view mirror. In the front engine compartment, here has been a cage installed with 2 custom squirrel cages made to look like 2 rats are running inside of them. They are also fully functioning at the flip of a switch or a push of a button from a remote control and are powered from inside the cab with a paddle boat motor. The floor pan and door panels have been covered with assorted vintage license plates from several different states. To keep with the theme of the pool table/bar room, he steering wheel (original steering column for the truck), ear shift, nd all the factory knobs on the dash have been replaced with pool balls of various sizes. Under the seats there are a set of 6"JBL speakers with crossoversand tweeters mounted in the console, ll powered by a Pioneer head unit concealed in the glove box. The console is a military ammo box, hich is used to hold paperwork, nd accessories for the truck. The rearleveling system for the pool table includes 2 trailer tongue jacks that are accessible between the rear tires with a ratchet and socket. The front leveling system consists of 2 racing wedge bolts located at each corner of the chassis. There are various spider webs all over the truck constructed of steel rods bent and welded together. On each of the spider webs, here are custom spiders made from different size 8 balls. All 6 wire spoke wheels are off of a '35 Ford attached with custom aluminum wheel adapters, ll with brand new tubes, nd brand new motorcycle tires.
This is a very unique truck that was very well built, ll by hand, rom ground up. There was much attention put into every detail of this truck asit was built. This truck has won about every show that it has ever been to, nd we have gotten to watch kidsof all agesto men and women in their 70's enjoy this truck, nd have met some very interesting peopleand enjoyed a lot of stories from everyone at the shows. Hate to see this truck go, ut have some bills that need to get paid. It's time for someone else to be able to enjoy this truck.
