This is an extremely solid. original and almost totally rust free 1955 Ford Crown Victoria that has had the same owner for the last 45 years to present. With 99K original miles. it is in desperate need of a nice paint job but has been well maintained and updated through the years. It does not have any dents or poor body work. and to my knowledge. has never been in a serious accident. The driver's door was replaced many years ago from a fender bender. Motor runs smoothly. does not smoke. and has no unusual knocks/noises (please see video). The transmission shifts well and it drives straight. Although it has been started and driven occasionally at regular intervals. it has basically been garaged for the last 35 years. The interior was re-done in quality material and is still in very presentable condition with no rips. tears or any real visible signs of wear. There are not any signs of rust on the body. that I can see. except minor surface rust on the dog legs (again see photos). Even the underside is very clean. All the chrome badges. medallions. scripting have been replaced with new. not too many years ago. There is no pitting on any of the chrome including bumpers. headlight eyebrows. hood ornament. etc. The original Ford fender skirts. with chrome guards in very nice dent free condition. nbsp;are included. It was haphazardly spotted with gray primer. as seen in photos. making it look really bad. The headliner has come apart at a seam. above the rear seat. The steering box should be replaced at some point. as in my opinion. it has too much play. There are a few dings in the side moldings. One small piece of molding. passenger fender side of grill surround has come off. We just noticed that that the drivers side window has a crack in it. All the other glass is in excellent condition. (I see this glass listed for $45. on ebay) ( eBay item number: 301100749330 ) Although I did my best to get some underside photos of the car by crawling underneath. upon request.
