I had it for a while in England (it is right hand drive) and brought it over in March 14 through Baltimore. All customs were cleared and it has a clean VA title, urrent safety check (from Apr 15) and is EPA exempt due to it's classic status. It is located in Vienna Virginia and available for viewing if you are in the area.Lightly used and regularly maintained, he engine bay is lovely and clean. It is a 2.25L gas engine fitted with a Zenith carb and new fuel pump and filter assembly, asher pumps, otor arm, oints and cap fitted as part of its routine maintenance. It starts easily whether hot or cold and pulls smoothly through all the gears without a puff of smoke.
Load area has bench seating for four and new front seat pads were fitted in Jan 14. The canvass, alvanized canvass frame and hoops were also new in Jan 14 as was a new tailgate and a 'farm standard' classic green paint job. All floor panels were lifted and checked in 2014 with fresh underseal applied over a rock solid and rust free chassis; all gearbox, ransmission and suspension mounts are likewise rust free. All glass is original and in excellent condition, luminum body panels straight, heels sound and original and tires okay.
Oil and fresh filter went in in Feb 15 and gearboxes were refilled in April. It is a great runner, ulls like an ox and climbs pretty much anything. It starts right away every time (a little manual choke), ettles to a smooth tick over, ulls through all gears and does not smoke. Best of all, t's an absolute blast drive!! The only negative is rust in the steel frames within the door panels; not an issue right now they will need replacing at some point.Overall though, great little head turning truck that I am reluctantly selling as I am being posted abroad and cannot take it with me.
