just finishing up a 4 year restoration on my 69/70 MGB GT.
It's a UK car, eaning RHD, teel dash, as a same era California body as the UK one was rusted out! It's been powder coated inside & out, then painted on the outside, t's stunning little car!! $55K or offer considered. Retail this is 80K+ car!
Under the hood it s WCBR built 1800, t's the original block with many mods:
Bore 3.200" Venolia forged pistons
Stroke Stock, olished/lightened crank, hromemolly con rods.
Alum flywheel w/racing clutch.
Big Valve head, orted/polished.
Racing Camshaft, ightweight pushrods, ightened/polished rockers.
Twin 2" SU carbs with header.
New points Dist.
Racing oil cooler and braided hoses.
Overhauled MG Radiator w/elec fan.
4 speed with overdrive.
4.3:1 axle ratio with LSD, lso LeMans axle ratio.
14" wire wheels (5) with new Dunlop Racing CR65 tyres.
All new brakes, eriod disc in front with racing pads, ears lightweight drums.
Lowered rear leaf spring, ront lowered/up-rated coils, ever shock with racing damper valves.
3/4" front sway bar.
Period Rollbar, ew racing seats with Simpson 4-point belts.
New trim and carpet kit, ut not all fitted.
Sebring headlamp covers, ella lamps.
Sebring front glass fiber panel.
Have original bumpers but not finished or fitted yet... If at all.
New windscreen and rubbers for all.
Heater, hich works.
Newly purchased MiniLight 14x5.5 knockoff wheels x5 (no tires yet fitted)
HMSA (valid) Log book; three races in 2015, aguna Seca & Sonoma x2, MSA & SVRA
Has a whole756 miles on it as of this writing... 7/16/2015.
FYI: Mileage was that of original speed-o and is NOT current mileage since restoration.
