Description
I just bought a mint freshly painted 1966 Mustang from my good friend with a 347 Stroker, our link rear, lobal West Coil Overs, tc and my wife says one car must go so this one is for sale. I bought this car a few months ago from an older gentleman who needed the cash. The car is a 1977 Trans Am . It was purchased from Kilgus Pontiac Cadillac in Manchester NH on 12/14/1976 for $5289.38. It came equipped with 4 Speed Manual Transmission, ustom Air Conditioning, + R Custom Seat Belts, nbsp;F Shoulder, ood Decal, dditional Acoustic Insulation, amp Group, ilt Steering Wheel, pare Tire Deletion, /A 6.6 Litre 400 4 BBL V8 Engine. The Color Code is Brentwood Brown 69-69/64R1 This car is not a show car but a great 100% reliable daily driver. I redid the entire interior already and was going to strip it and paint it black and build themotor over the winter but used the money for the stang. It has the Borg Warner four speed, adial Tuned Suspension and comes with a Pontiac 400 6.6 Litre Engine. The engine is not numbers matching. When I got the car the clutch was chattering so I installed a brand-new clutch and it ended up needing a new starter otherwise the car had no issues. I drove this car over 2000 this summer and it performed beautifully. On one trip to NJ from Conn. I had to sit in traffic on the George Washington Bridge for over 45 minutes. The car stayed cool as a cucumber. I know that you will not have any mechanical issues and am positive this car can be daily driver. The body has 93,000 miles on it and I was told by the previous owner that the engine has 35,000 miles but can not verify that information nor did I care when I bought it because the motor was coming out anyway. The interior color is Camel Tan with Dark Brown Dash and Console. The car just had a brand new rug installed, ew door panels and the interior was professionally dyed as you can see in the pictures this interior is beautiful. The center console needs to be replaced because it's ripped but only if you want a perfect interior otherwise it works fine (see picture) . I have a new door lid for the console you can see in the pictures. There are no cracks in the dash. Everything on this car works correctly and it just easily passed inspection with flying colors. All of the lights work including the high and low beams, he hazard lights, he blinkers, he dash lights, he dimswitch, he glove box light, he interior lights, rake lights, tc. The clock does work but only intermittently therefore it does not keep correct time. It has an aftermarket Alpine stereo in it. It is just a basic stereo with two rear speakers. The car is not perfect it's a driver. It had one repaint in 1998 but had no rust so it did not have any sheet metal replaced. It looks fantastic even up close. However, t is still driver quality for example: there is spider cracking in the paint (See Pictures). The front bumper also has spider cracks that look like lines (see the pictures) The rear bumper has a nick and some scratches as well (See Picture). The rocker panel on the driver underside has a slight dent because the previous owner drove over a curb. It is perhaps 3 1/2 inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide (See Picture). There is some surface rust starting in front of the drivers rear tire where the paint started chipping off (See Picture). The bird on the hood is starting to peel at the edges (see the Picture) I have two hood scoops for the car. The one on the car is original and in good condition. In 1977 the scoops sat low as the picture shows. I wanted a scoop that stuck up more out of the hood so I picked up a new scoop. Since I am now selling the car I had it freshly painted so it matches the car. It does not have the stickers so you will need to buy them. If you do not want it sell it and easily pay for the new console with the money. The car has the jack but does not have a spare tire because it was ordered spare delete. The tires on the car are almost new with tons of tread. The trunk has zero rust and the car had Zeibart installed when it was purchased new. The car was always garaged and not driven in bad weather which is why it has no rust. If you want a picture of anything and I mean anything just ask because there's nothing I am trying to hide on this car. Oh, he cigarette lighter does not work. Hire an inspector or better yet come see the car in person and inspect it before you bid on it. My number is two zero three - eight one nine - nine four zero eight.
