Hello. I am offering my early 944 for sale as I simply own two too many special cars at the time being. I have owned other 944's in the past and this one is a fine example that while I am not pricing at a high collector car level for 944's. I reserve the right to sell only to a caring enthusiast as there are few decent ones left. No dingbats please. seriously. :) I bought the car from the second owner around 8. 00 miles ago. He cared about the car. but was time for him to move one. Since then. I have invested plenty of time and money. The car has new Continental all season sport tires. restored and professionally powder coated BBS wheels. new timing and accessory belts. new spark plugs. new plug wires. ignition cap and rotor. recent oil change. quicker throttle cable cam. cam housing gasket. A/C recharge. and vintage Porsche prototype race car wood laminated shift knob and shifter housing. The car has a nice Alpine CD player. new speakers. and an Infinity sub-woofer. The power windows work as do the lights and the air conditioning. The transmission shifts well with healthy feeling syncros and the clutch was replaced before I purchased it. The car has never let me down or failed to start right away. The engine has never gotten hot or displayed bad symtoms or ugly noises that I have heard. nor does it smoke. The car has never been in an accident either. The interior is quite nice with the rare Porsche door panels and amazingly the DASH IS NOT CRACKED. Hooray! Please realize that this is essentially a vintage car now that it is 2015. That being said. I feel it is one of the few that are daily drivable. This car is sold As-Is and it is the buyer's responsibility to inspect and know what they are buying. The pictures are representative of the car right now. The mileage may go up some as I do drive the car in the meantime. Comes with owners manual and some misc extra filters. etc. I do have a Momo steering wheel hub that would fit the car as well as a rare Euro rally light pod that I got from England. but never put on.
