1982 VW Westfalia Vanagon Diesel. Runs great. no blow by. 1. 6L naturaly aspirated diesel (Fahrvergnuegen (enjoy the ride. slow and easy)). Four speed manual shift. New breaks everything in the rear. including backing plate and cylinders. Front breaks need calipers. pads and rotors turned or replaced. New hydraulic clutch line. 90% new brake line nickel copper line used. Brand new OEM fuel tank. Red top Optima starting battery included in sale. All systems work. 3. 3 gallon under carriage propane tank used for two burner stove and propane fridge (very cold). Water tank used for electric pump sink. Rear seat turns into double bunk. pop top with canvas with a double bunk and single screened in window. Two small holes in the back of canvas can be fixed with small patch. not noticeable from exterior. Under carriage diesel cabin heater. it has been disconnected at some point and currently not operational. Looks clean and wouldn't take much to connect or eliminate completely. Original carpet and seats with full set of curtains. Shop manual. original owners manual included. some extra parts included as well. ask for details. Some notorious rust issues with the body that can be fixed easily with replacment panels or fabricated. Should not cost too much to be done at a shop. Underside in good condition. no rust through. front steps solid. under body clean. Under body panels included. Ask for additional pictures. Very fun vheicles and perfect for adventures. Ask about delivery options. If not discussed prior to end of auction logistics and costs will be up to the winning bidder. At end of auction. a down payment of US $500 will be required within 2 days.
