Description

We are offering for sale one Very Rare One year only 1959 Galaxie Fairlane 500 Hideaway Hard top Convertible. This vehicle comes from a long time owner(25+years). They came with 3 motors and this one has the biggest! Its the 352/300hp with Automatic Transmission and Factory A/C.(Which Works) Power Steering and Power Brakes..#2 condition Black Book on this car is $75000! This is a great buy!!!!Well loved and it shows. It is painted in the original Factory Raven Black. We have looked and can not find any current or previous rust on the vehicle. She starts right up and runs and drives great. The plastic is still on the seats and the dash is ingood shape. Door panels areusablebut not perfect. All the chrome and Stainless is good and very usable.Low miles are supposed to be original. We can not guarantee this but ibelieveit.Everything on the car issupposedto be original except the previous owner put in a new radiator right before we got her.She has dual exhaust and sounds awesome. There does seem to be a minor exhaust leak at the manifold on the drivers side that you can hear when she is cold. The tires look good and are usable but the tread is fair. The car is a 15 footer. The paint still shines and looks good in the pictures but it is an older repaint and you will probably want to paint her for showing purposes. The bad is the top does not complete the locking process. The mechanics go up and down but do not complete closing. We have had the top up and down and can have it locked in the closed position for transportation. We have just left the top down and only used her in nice weather. Please ask any and all questions before you bid. An inspection of the vehicle is welcome anytime before you bid. Once you bid you have entered into a contract to purchase. This car is also for sale locally andi reserve the right end the sale at any time. She is being sold as/is with no warranty/guarantee implied.NOT A CONTRACT TO INSPECT! I you win you are expected to complete the transaction. If you fail to do so we will use eBay sellers protection policy! If you have 5 or less positive feedback as a buyer do not bid until you email. Your bid will becanceledif you do not follow the rules. That being said we spend our time and money to put our items on to sell. So please be serious. I hope you enjoy viewing this beautiful car and Happy Bidding! This is the best deal out there!
