I will spare you the history lesson I'm sure you know all about 1971 Pagoda SLs.

Color: Tunis Beige (462H) upper and lower interior is dark brown MB tex soft top is dark brown.Automatic transmissionOdometer indicates approx. 90597 which are believed original from newCar was purchased by current owner in the early 1990s purchased from an elderly neighbor in L.A. as far as we know it has always been in southern California. After purchasing the car the owner had the car stripped to bare metal and repainted in its correct 'Tunis Beige' metallic color approximately 1993. Routine maintenance was performed as needed on the car during our client's ownership. Over the past several years the following work has been done to the car:New hard top chrome paint and rubber seals (2015)New transmission seal to cure leak (2015(sum of work listed above: $5595 receipt available for your inspection)New muffler and exhaust system (2015)New shocks and spring pads alignment (2015)New water pumpNew Alternator (2013)New radiator hoses (2011)New Belts (2011)A/C compressor was removed from the car but is included with the sale. Under dash 'Frigiking' unit is still in place but A/C is inoperable without its underhood components. The MB tex Interior is in very nice condition the seats were re-stuffed earlier this year and some dye work was done to the interior seats and door panels.Inner fender spot welds are intact as are fender 'notches' - However the notch on the driver's side looks different than that on the passengers side additionally the spot welds on the driver's side inner fender towards the very front of the car are very faint or nonexistent about the last 8" at the very front of the car. The car was stripped and repainted 20+ years ago so those details may have been lost then. There is also no body number stamped in the corner of the driver's side of the hood so it's quite possible the hood is not original to the car at the very least the body number was sanded off during the repaint. The owner is not aware of any accident damage of any kind ever to the car.

This is a rust free dry car that has never had rust or been repaired as a result of rust.

This is a longtime southern California car that has been lovingly maintained and used over the years. It has had considerable work done within the past 6 months to make sure it is ready for its next owner's enjoyment. It is a solid car that is ready to drive home. It isn't a perfect show car and it isn't priced as one. It doesn't have it's washer fluid container and therefore doesn't have the capability of washing its windshield with the spray nozzles it has an aftermarket stereo (although no holes cut anywhere for additional speakers) it's an honest driver quality car better than most mechanically and cosmetically that are being described as such in these days of fast increasing collector car prices.
